Certification ISO 9001   Without doubt, the most important fact in 2000 has been obtaining the ISO 9001 certification. The certification process endured one year and a half and culminated in 31 December 1999. The process found its groundwork in the permanent support of the National Council of SENATI and the participation of all the personnel of the institution.   This certification ISO 9001, granted by Bureau Veritas Quality International, allows us to be leaders in Latin America in subjects related to quality assurance in the training and professional instruction field.    Importance   The importance of this institutional goal is given by the certification of all the Programs of Training and Professional Instruction that offers SENATI national wide. The certified Programs they are:   Dual Learning Instruction of Workers in-service Industrial Technicians Industrial Managers Maestros Industriales Technicians in Applied Engineering Continuous Instruction Program Multimedia Training Service of Labour Exchange    It has been also certificated the following services, offered in Zonal Lima Callao :   Services of Manufacturing and Non-destructive Testing Advisory and Consultancy for the Small and Medium Enterprise Coverage   Another one important issue that makes the difference between us and other similar institutions of the world is the number of sites that have been certified, in addition to the National Direction, the following sites have also been certified:   Zonal Piura - Tumbes Zonal Cajamarca Sur - Amazonas Zonal Lambayeque - Cajamarca Norte Zonal San Martín Zonal Loreto Zonal La Libertad Zonal Ancash Zonal Lima - Callao Zonal Junín - Pasco Zonal Ucayali - Huánuco Zonal Ica - Huancavelica - Ayacucho Zonal Cusco - Arpurímac - Madre de Dios Zonal Arequipa - Puno Zonal Moquegua - Tacna A Path through ISO-9001: 2000   After three years of applying this system, SENATI is implementing a System of Quality Management according to the requirements of ISO-9001: 2000. A Path through ISO-14001: 1996   There is also an implementation of the System of Environmental Management according to requirements of ISO 14001: 1996. In 2002 took place the technical studies to identify the environmental aspects and impacts, as well as definition of the Environmental Program and the elaboration of the norms related to it. At the moment, we are in the final phase of implementation.  Towards an Integrated System of Management   SENATI is implementing an Integrated System of Management, that in addition to the System of Quality Management and to the System of Environmental Management, it also includes the Administrative and Financial processes.
